Hootsuite’s New Dashboard
Have you seen the new Hootsuite Dashboard?
Even if you haven't heard of Hootsuite then I really suggest you check it out. Especially if you use Twitter and Facebook. I use Hootsuite because of the features it offers such as scheduling tweets, managing different hashtags and keeping up with everything going on. But the feature I like the most is the Hootlet Bookmark. It's so convient to Tweet when you are on a certain page that you want to share. All you have to do is click the bookmark and a new small window will open with all the details to send to your Twitter followers and friends on Facebook.
The Social sites that you can setup through HootSuite is Twitter, Facebook, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn, Ping.fm, WordPress, Myspace, and Foursquare. As I read through their blog I did see that they will be releasing a Paid version which will allow members to connect to unlimited social sites.
Pay With A Tweet – What?
I was really amazed when I came across a site today that wanted me to pay with a Tweet in order to download their free ebook. This got me curious and so I went to check out the site that allows this service.
It's called PayWithATweet.com – You can offer your clients and readers a free offer and in order for them to receive it they need to tweet about it to get the download link. This is a great way to get traffic to your site!!
Become My Blog Buddy!!
So today I came across a site called LinkyTools. This site allows you to add a list of links provided by your readers and also allows your readers to add the same list to their sites. This is a great way to keep up with certain blogs you want to follow and build relationships through link building. Feel free to add you and your site to my list.
Here is My Blog Buddies Page
WoW I Really Wrote 30 Articles In 30 Days!
Wow, Can you believe it? I really wrote 30 posts on my blog in the last 30 days. I didn't know if I would actually be able to make it. I had to do this Blog Challenge since I never completed the first one. I had to prove to myself that I could actually post 30 times in 30 days. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but I must admit that I might have to scale it back depending on my schedule. My daughter is growing and needing more of my attention and that's my first priority. I can honestly say that I have developed some pretty good habits since devoting myself to blog everyday. Writing blog posts isn't such a hassle as it was before. Especially if I have some great information I want to share with all my readers. I have learned that blogging everyday does bring traffic to your blog. Not only do you get to share great information and resources with others you get to network with others who have the same interests as you do. The 30 Day Blog Challenge hosted by Jeanette Cates & Connie Ragen Green has helped me build some really great friendships and I am so excited to follow all the awesome people who were involved in this whole process.
If you are interested in following what other blog challengers are writing about you can go to twitter and enter the hashtag #blog30. Please give these wonderful people some love by checking out their sites and leaving comments.
Make Your Own MindMap Or Diagram
Today I was watching a webinar and I seen that the instructor was using a program to build their mindmap they showed. Since I am the curious type I opened a new tab and went to Gliffy.com. This site has a ton of different features and is really easy to use. Gliffy even has a feature that you can use to insert your mindmap directly into your WordPress blog. How cool is that? You can use Gliffy to make flowcharts, network diagrams, floorplan software, org charts, SWOT analysis, Wireframe software, UML Software, Business Process Model software. So as you can see you can do a lot of different things with this online site.
The FREE Account includes 5 public diagrams with an image upload limit of 2mb. It also includes MediaWiki Integration, you can share diagrams with others, full shape library, publish diagrams as images or URL to Blog or Websites, and finally you can export diagrams.
Premium service is $5 per month for One user. They bill you in 3 month increments so make sure that you read the terms and conditions to find out all the extra details.
Stay tuned I will post my first diagram when I get it completed. I look forward to sharing it with you!
