How to add a Widget to your WordPress Blog
I received an email from one of my readers asking How to add a Widget to your WordPress Blog. Well she specifically asked on how to get the widgets centered. So this is for you, Michelle!
Login to your WordPress Blog.
Scroll down to the Appearance Tab and under that tab is Widgets, click on it.
A bunch of different options appear and you are going to want to find "Text" tab. (It's usually down near the bottom on the right)

Drag the "Text" to your sidebar that you want it to appear in. (Hint: Make sure to open your sidebars before moving a tab, just click on the down arrow to open them – this will save you from having to go back and grab the Text tab again)
Once you drop the "Text" tab where you want it, it will open up.

It's not necessary to put in a title, if you do it will show up above the code your adding.
You will want to paste the html code in the Big blank box and should look something like this:

You can add different codes to the beginning and ending of your code will change the way your widget will appear.
Here are a couple of tags I use.
<center> </center> – This will center your widget
I use these for Text Links
<b> </b> – This will make the Text Bold
<u> </u> – This will make the Text Underlined
<i> </i> – This will make the Text Italic
Here is a great list of HTML codes for Reference (print and save)
