Sites To Check Out
Watch TV Shows Anytime You Want
Have you missed a TV show that you wanted to see lately? Well I have! So I decided to check online to see if the show was viewable. I did a search on Google for the TV Show and I found HULU in the Search results. I have really enjoyed view all sorts of different TV shows that I have been missing out on. The feature that I really like is that you can subscribe to any of the shows that interest you and when they have new episodes and clips available to watch you receive an email letting you know they are viewable. I really suggest you take a look at HULU there are a ton of different shows so make sure you go through and find your favorite shows.
Hope you enjoy HULU as much as I do….
My Favorite Social Sites
Where do you hang out online?
My favorite places to hangout online and network with other like minds would have to be:
Twitter – I love Twitter! This is fast and easy way to communicate with others and find valuable information. I love being able to share what others have to say with my followers.
Facebook – I originally started out on Facebook to reconnect with old highschool friends and people I have met over the years. Recently, I have been meeting a ton of wonderful people to network and offer my services to.
LinkedIn – This is more of a professional social site. This is a great site to help you find potential customers and network with others in your industry.
YouTube – Most people I meet don't realize that YouTube is a social site. You do not have to make videos in order to interact with others on the site. You can add other people's videos to your channel that are in the same niche as you.
I would love to hear where you all hangout online, so leave a comment below to share your favorite online hangouts.
Organize Your Desktop
Today I wanted to share with you how I organize my desktop. If you are are like me then you might have a ton of program icons all over your desktop. I found a solution that I can not live with out. The program is called Fences by Stardock.com. Fences allows you to group different icons together. Since using Fences I have been able to find stuff a lot quicker.
Here is a list of features for the Free version:
- Create an unlimited number of fence areas on your desktop
- Hide/Show Icons quickly by double clicking your desktop
- Customize the color and transparency of fences.
- Auto scaling for screen size changes
- Store unique fence locations for different monitor configurations
- Program runs with low impact to your computer
The paid version is only $9.99 and comes with even more features.
I personally use the free version and love it. Like I said before this is one piece of software I can not live without. If you have to have things organized, then really take a look at Fences. Make sure to let me know what you think by commenting below!
Learn And Teach Online
This morning I logged into Facebook to see what I missed. Finding new friends on Facebook can be a great way to network and find out about great resources. So today I came across Gary Gil. His profile caught my attention because 5 other people I know are friends with him. So I checked out his profile and I seen that he has a website – so I went to check it out! The site is called Podclass.com. What an awesome site!! You can learn from others and teach courses and classes online. You can connect with others and build a friends list. But one great feature that I noticed right away was that you can have people subscribe to your courses and keep them updated as to when you are offering something new. I really suggest checking out this site especially if you have knowledge that you want to share with others. This is a great way to for beginners to teach courses.
